OVERVIEW

During the industry adjustment period, surrounding uncertainty factors are still in. Therefore, the electronic industry needs the supply chain to gather vitality and act accordingly. It is the only way for distribution and supply chain to build the second growth curve in the post-COVID-19 era to achieve an effective advance of the value chain and obtain new breakthroughs and development of the entire industry through sincere cooperation and hand in hand between upstream and downstream and cross-application enterprises.

With the theme of "Industry Synergy for Value Chain Escalation", the 2023 "Distribution and Supply Chain Leadership Summit" will discuss how to engage in or prepare for the next upward cycle of the industry under the complicated current of The Times.

Amidst Cyclic Resonance and Growth, How Semiconductor Distributors Grasp the Right Timing and Ensure Proper Ecological Layout

  • Selina Jiang, the Vice President of COMPO
In 2023, the semiconductor industry is still moving forward in challenges. In the post-epidemic era, downturn, geopolitics and some other factors still profoundly affect the global semiconductor industry, and the supply chain suffered double strike. At the beginning of 2023, the optimistic outlook for a recovery in the 2H of 2023 did not come as expected, and the stocking in all links was longer than expected, the market is still repeatedly bottoming out. While, the growth momentum shift from consumer electronics represented by mobile phones and PCs to AloT, automotive , servers, new energy, industry .etc. With the restructuring of the global industry and the change of geographical relations, especially after the new energy vehicles gradually promote the iteration of the automotive, new design cycle of semiconductors and the effect of domestic substitution are gradually expanding. As an indispensable part of the supply chain, should distributors grasp the opportunity, especially in ecological layout, and build a resilient supply chain service system, which will become a necessary capability before the arrival of new cycle coming.
