Supply Chain Security
It has been two years since the semiconductor industry recovered after the pandemic,which is a
mixed blessing for the supply chain. As the saying goes, it is a good time to set sail when the
wind is in the right direction. So enterprises with experience in supply chain management are
often more likely to highlight their advantages in response speed, delivery time, logistics,
credibility, and other aspects in the volatile environment, thus creating favorable conditions
for the recovery of production and operation. However, emergencies such as the global pandemic
counterattack, the escalation of international conflicts, and the frequent occurrence of natural
disasters have brought new supply chain challenges one after another. After all, supply chain
security has become an essential element for upstream and downstream firms to maintain their
core competitiveness. It is even a prerequisite for the stability and smooth flow of the global
semiconductor industry in the future.

Mark Bollinger joined Smith in 2000 as the Director of Business Development. Over his 20+ years, he also served as VP of Business Development and VP of Marketing before taking on his current role as Chief Globalization Officer in 2016.
Claudio Chan joined Smith in 2013 as a trader at the company’s Houston headquarters. He relocated to Hong Kong a year later and quickly climbed the ranks, taking on his current role as Managing Director, China in 2022.
